Z31 Front Lower Control Arm kit for S chassis
Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys ever tried to see how your Z31 flca weld in kit fit in an S chassis arm.
If I was given the dimensions of the part, I could go measure my arms to see how they'd fit.
Thanks!

Not exactly ideal, because the arc of the top of the flca is steeper and runs into the boss unless trimmed, and the arm also narrows a bit where you'd have to clearance the sides too. It has been done, this is the only photo submitted as proof.
The overall width including the bushing sleeve in the Z31 flca is 61mm, on the S12 it is 64mm, so you would at least have a choice of which kit's rodend spacers are more suitable for you now.

Oh I see. I just measured the width on the s13 and s14 arms and they are 63mm wide. So I guess the s12 one should be close enough.
What about the inner part of the arm? Where the weld-on piece sits?
I measured 39mm wide on the s13 and 38mm on the s14. Hopefully the s12 piece is in the ballpark of that.
Thank you!

The weldblock doesn't fit nicely in the s13 arm, the top slopes down right near the inner end of the boss, and depending how that is clearanced, the wings on the bottom may not reach the bottom edge of the arm flush. Width is not the issue.
